Refund Principles
We believe in fair refunds that protect both food lovers and cooks. Our policy aims to be reasonable while preventing misuse.
Automatic Refunds
You'll get an automatic full refund in the following cases:
- •The cook cancels your order
- •Your dispute on an order is approved by our team
Delayed Orders
If a meal isn't ready by the promised time:
- •We allow a grace period of up to 2 hours before processing any refund
- •If the cook has marked the meal as ready, we will not automatically process a refund even if the promised time has passed significantly
- •In cases of significant delays, you must raise a dispute to request a refund
Order Pickup Confirmation
- •Once you confirm pickup of your order, it is considered final and non-refundable
- •If a cook marks your order as picked up, you have 18 hours to dispute this claim
- •If no dispute is raised within 18 hours, the order will be considered picked up and will not be eligible for a refund
Dispute Resolution
- •Submit disputes within 18 hours of the cook marking the order as picked up
- •Include clear photos and detailed description of the issue
- •We'll review and respond within 48 hours
- •Both parties will have the opportunity to provide evidence
Processing Time
- •Automatic refunds (cook cancellations): Immediate to your LetsChop wallet
- •Approved disputes: 1-3 business days
- •Bank processing for withdrawals: 1-3 business days
