How Payments Work
LetsChop uses secure payment processing to handle transactions between food lovers and cooks. We hold payments in escrow until orders are completed successfully.
Payments should only be made for meal orders and chef booking. Every payment has an expiration time that is clearly displayed on the payment page. Please be aware that payments must be completed within this window.

Important Payment Rules
- •Users must pay the exact amount shown on our payment page
- •Payments must be made within the expiration window displayed on the payment page
- •Payments made after the expiration time will not be applied to orders or refunded
- •Payments that are less than or exceed the required amount will not be refunded
- •All payments made to LetsChop are final and non-refundable except as outlined in our Refund Policy
For Food Lovers
- •Payment is taken when you place an order
- •Funds are held securely until order completion
- •Additional charges may apply for delivery or special requests
- •Automatic refunds if the cook cancels
While some payment processors may allow for chargebacks, please note that payments made to LetsChop are considered final. Our system already handles refunds to your wallet as outlined in our Refund Policy.
For Cooks
- •Payments are released 2 hours after successful delivery/pickup of all received orders
- •Commission ranges from 5-20% based on reputation tier
- •Payouts are made to your registered bank account via withdrawals
Pricing
- •Cooks set their own prices
- •All prices must include applicable taxes
- •Transparent breakdown of fees and charges
- •No hidden costs or surprise fees
Security
All payments are processed through PCI-compliant payment providers. We never store complete credit card information on our servers.
Payment Issues
For any payment reconciliation issues, users and partners can contact us by email at [email protected] including all necessary details to review the inquiry. We respond within 2-5 business days.
Please note that payments not meeting our requirements (incorrect amount, late payment, etc.) may be considered an attempt to abuse our payment system and breach our agreements with payment partners. These payments will not be refunded.
